Starting a journey can be easier than staying on it. We often hear about the courage it can take to venture into the unknown, but over six years of work we have realized that sometimes, despite having clear goals and objectives, continuing at a steady pace can be a bigger challenge than not knowing where to start.

GAMA opened its doors in 2016 with the aim of being an open space for different proposals, trajectories and styles. Showing different faces of the creative scene in Mexico City and finding new ways to enrich it, make it stronger, more diverse and of higher quality. Over time and due to the atypical circumstances we are experiencing, the means used to achieve our objectives have diversified, maintaining collaboration as one of the values ​​that identify us and building significant links with artists, clients, managers and suppliers.

These six years have meant a period of trial and error that has helped us prepare the ground and continue working on our goals. And just like an engine that converts heat into movement, we have turned each alliance into energy to move forward with larger projects. That is why this exhibition brings together some artists with whom, in addition to working together, we have managed to ensure that the pace of our steps does not slow down, but rather increases.
