"I firmly believe that the symbol is a universal language beyond languages. The symbol allows us to communicate and say more than just words. This has generated in me a concern for the creation of images and the desire to share it with the world.
Experience is what truly belongs to us, it is something that no one can take away from us, it is our true wealth. From the desire to share my experience and show the human inner world graphically, a character with a blue coat, orange hat, boots and suitcase was created, which I decided to call “The Traveler”. A character that represents the human experience, the journeys through different emotional landscapes, the comings and goings along the routes of the mind, that epic journey that we call life.
As people's lives develop, their context changes, and with it their ways of expressing and communicating. So new stories, new heroes and archetypes are needed to remind the world of what a lack of self-knowledge has turned into a mystery: the multiplicity of aspects embedded in the being.
As a child, I dreamed of illustrating comics for the local newspaper. My attempts to do so were frustrated because the type of comic I wanted to make did not fit with what was published there. I then began to make cartoons and post them on different social networks, with “El viajero” being my priority, a series that quickly generated an impact among users, reaffirming my commitment to sharing my experience with my peers.

“The traveler visits Mexico” is an exhibition that for the first time compiles some of the traveler’s adventures, with which I want to invite the observer to delve into his personal journey and remember being the hero/heroine of his own story.
