TRANSITIONAL APPEARANCES by Andrés Gamiochipi and Cristóbal Sarro

This exhibition captures a collaboration between Cristóbal Sarro and Andrés Gamiochipi , in which since the beginning of December 2020 they exchanged work materials, to modify and intervene them and thus create joint pieces in which their disciplines, techniques, processes, styles and discourses dialogue, until they become mutual emulations.
By mixing drawings, paintings and clippings of common interests, such as images of astronomical elements, machinery, faunal, floristic and anatomical fragments, totems, hybridizations, chimeras and fantastic beasts emerge that challenge a natural order of the recognizable.
“Transient Appearances” is part of the 4th edition of the Paste Up! Festival. This exhibition addresses the record of human activity, hyperculture and insignificance within an ephemeral vital field.
