For most of our lives, we have had to endure movies, series, songs and even commercials that force us to recognize that the only way to achieve happiness is through heterosexual romantic love, and whether they are action movies, horror movies, alien movies or whatever, there is alway a romantic interest that tries to make us feel identified and that makes us run out to find “the right person.”

Tired of being used as consumers of junk merchandise, Cartoon Sadness rises for the fourth time to bring together all the sad people, the haters, the single gang and also the gang with a partner who no longer wants to spend so much money on an imposed celebration, to celebrate all those characters who were rejected, abandoned or for whom everything went wrong for some reason and who despite all their misfortunes, were still endearing characters from whom we learned and who accompanied us on great afternoons of cartoons.

This time we bring you a collective exhibition, Cartoon Market, interventions, a drawing session and a workshop with @gama_workshops , a pop-up, a lot of heartbreak and tears.
